AZD5363

Agent Description

AZD5363 is a potent, selective inhibitor of the kinase activity of serine/threonine specific protein kinase (AKT) and is being developed as a potential treatment for solid and hematological malignancies. AZD5363 is currently in Phase 2 of development.

Monograph

AZD5363 clinical program is assessing the clinical utility of the agent in combination with anti-hormonals (breast and prostate), as well as chemotherapy combinations in a variety of tumor types. These approaches are complimented by a targeted population approach looking at patient segments with activating mutations of the PI3K pathway.
